According to a report released by SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Christopher Spies it is suggested that on Saturday, April 12 information on possible stolen property was received from the public to which they responded.

“The SAPS members responded on this information and searched a house where they discovered some items,” the statement read.
“An occupant found at the premises was unable to account for his possession thereof. These items were confiscated and positively identified by the complainant in the burglary.
“Police arrested the suspect on a charge of possession of stolen property.”
The suspect was released into the custody of his mother. He will appear in court once charged.
