It has been a very dry summer in Barrydale and although there were a few reports of rain along the scenic route on the R62 this year, most dams have dried up leaving many farmers with huge concerns.
We therefore decided to celebrate the much needed rain that fell from Montagu to Ladismith and beyond on March 1 by posting this collection of pictures and video that were taken along the R62 yesterday.
